With Sydney city’s historic Domain once again coming alive with the sound of music, film, laughs and more, Homebake returns in 2012 playing host to a virtual swag of national and internationally famous local superstars, once again presenting an eclectic & talented selection of the finest artists borne out of the Southern Hemisphere.

This year’s festival taking place on the 8th December will feature Four Stages (Main Stage, The Big Top, The Dome, The New Rowland S Howard Stage) & More!  The Homebake Cinema Pavilion, Curated By Kieran Darcy-Smith / Blue-Tongue), The Brand New Homebake Comedy Stage (Presented By Sydney Comedy Festival), Multimedia, International Food Fair, Roving Activities & Performers, International Food Fair, Market Stalls, Artist Signing Tent, Youth & Community Information & Awareness Stalls & More

Southbound Festival 2013MORE ARTISTS ANNOUNCED FOR SOUTHBOUND FESTIVAL 2013

Last week saw the first announcement of confirmed artists for Southbound 2013 and keeping to their word of divulging information the moment they get it, organisers have revealed the next 7 artists to help warm your toes!

Joining  Beach House, Best Coast, Boy & Bear, Coolio, The Flaming Lips, SBTRKT and The Vaccines, are Bombay Bicycle Club, First Aid Kit, Hilltop Hoods, Hot Chip, Maximo Park, Millions and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs!

North West Fesitval 2012NORTH WEST FESTIVAL ADDS MORE KILLER ACTS!

Festival organisers have just revealed a further two killer additions to the inaugural North West Festival, set to take over Port Hedland this August.   Joining the already announced Hilltop Hoods are The Living End and The Cat Empire.

Splendour in the Grass Festvial, QueenslandSPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS 2012 LINE UP ANNOUNCED!

In 2012 SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS embarks on a new chapter in the life of Australia’s favourite winter festival. Back home at Byron Bay, from July 27th to 29th Splendour will once again transform Belongil Fields into the ultimate playground for music and arts enthusiasts.

Splendour returns to Byron Bay with 3 full days of knockout talent from around the globe!  And while the site will feel familiar to many, it will also include all the bells and whistles from 2011.

As Splendour is a bigger show than it was when last staged at Belongil Fields, this year there will be no CAMPING on site but hey, it’s okay. A beautiful, beachside campground will be set up off-site at NORTH BEACH CAMPGROUND on Bayshore Drive, Byron Bay. It’s within easy walking distance of the festival or you can catch one of the free shuttle buses. You’ll find more information about camping at splendourinthegrass.com.

Groovin The Moo Festival 2012, AustraliaGROOVING THE MOO FIRST ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT!

Rich feathers… precious stones. The Groovin’ the Moo (GTM) cosmogram returns in 2012. With the milestone of a record ten international Artists alongside local essentials coming together for Australia’s only touring regional event, the scene has been set for a ritual of musical and communal expression. From City and Colour, Kaiser Chiefs to Public Enemy and more, this will be one fun techni-colour spectrum of artist-all-sorts handpicked for GTM fans to enjoy this May.

Now in its eighth percussive year, the GTM tribe of 75,000 strong across the land will hold up the sky for another gathering culminating in a happiness explosion of epic proportions. Sporting head dress and holding talisman, White Eagle Desert Dweller aka Stephen Halpin (GTM Promoter, Cattleyard Promotions) relayed in anticipation, “I’m really excited about this lineup. So many fresh locals, festival favourites and breaking internationals to keep the outdoor stages rocking and the Moolin Rouge banging. Looking forward to checking out Chiddy Bang, plus Mutemath and The Maccabees who are making their first tours of Australia. I’m sure everyone will give them a friendly GTM welcome.”
